A Study of prevalence of epidemic, population and social change in modern China
(1) collecting materials
a. Reports by the League of Nations

(2) prevalence of epidemic
From many materials, confirmed the prevalence of epidemic, for example plague, cholera and malaria in modern China.
(3) population trend
There were prevalence of epidemic, but that did not effect the population trend in modern China.
(4) social change
The government of modern China, especially Nationalist Government (1928-1949) made an effort to establish public health system. After the treaty revision in 1930. Chinese government recovery the right of quarantine. The League of Nations supported the Chinese government to establish public health system.
