Research Abstract

ンモクセイにおけるβ-,α-ionone生合成・発散制御に関わるカロテノイド分解酵素・遺伝子:カロテノイド分解酵素遺伝子ofCCD1の発現レベルの明暗変動(明期に高く暗期に低い)リズムが、分解産物であるC13-ノルイソプレノイド系香気成分β-,α-iononeの明暗発散ズムと一致することを明らかにし、本酵素がβ-,α-caroteneを分解してβ-,α-iononeを生成することも明らかにすると共に香気特性の変化にも言及した(J.Expt.Botany,in press)。
色調変化に伴って香気成分を生成・発散する中国バラにおけるカロテノイド,分解酵素,香気成分の変動:各開花段階にあるRosa chinensis Mutabilisの花の香気成分、カロテノイド、アントシアニン、およびカロテノイド分解酵素の消長を明らかにした。
ノリの香気成分、色素とカロテノイド分解酵素:浜名湖周辺で採取した新鮮ノリからC13ノルイソプレノイド系香気成分生成に関与するカロテノイド分解酵素を生成し、その生化学的特徴、および、本酵素がβ-,α-caroteneを分解してβ-,α-iononeを生成する等の機能解析に成功した。ノリの実験室内培養系を確立し、本培養によって得られたノリのC13-ノルイソプレノイド系香気成分としてβ-,α-iononeを同定し、同時にβ-,α-caroteneを同定した。
チャ花のカロテノイドおよびカロテノイド起源生理活性物質:チャ花の生殖器官よりカロテノイドおよびその分解生成物として植物ホルモンであるABAを同定すると共に、その消長を明らかにし、花弁の展開との関係を明らかにした。
