量子論的フラクソンの理論研究とその量子情報科学への応用

Research Abstract

本研究の目的は,超伝導素子中の可動な素励起であるフラクソンの量子性を明らかにし,量子情報科学への応用法を考案することである.最終年度である本年度は,前年度までに提案した手法を発展させるとともに,研究の総括を行った.主な研究成果を以下に挙げる.
(1)フラクソン制御によるグラフ状態の生成
前年度に発表したフラクソンを用いた量子ビット間の結合制御法を応用し,グラフ状態の生成法を提案した.グラフ状態とは,量子計算や量子エラー訂正など,多くの応用を持つ多ビット量子状態である.固体量子ビット上でこの状態を生成するには,複雑な結合制御が必要であるために,より簡便な生成法が望まれている.今回我々が提案した方法では、フラクソンの持つ局所性と制御性により,Josephson伝送線路への一様な電流印加によって簡便な生成が可能である.本研究については,第70回応用物理学会学術講演会にて発表したほか,日本物理学会が出版する学術論文誌,「Journal of Physical Society of Japan」のLetterとして掲載された.
(2)動的カシミール効果によるフラクソンのスクイーズド状態
動的カシミール効果は.真空状態にある電磁場共振器において急激に共振器の境界を変化させることにより,量子状態を非断熱的に変化させる効果である.この効果は1970年にMooreによって提案されたが,共振器の壁を高速で動かすことが困難であるために,いまだ実験的な検証は成功していない.一方,超伝導素分では,Josephson接合を利用した技術により,素子の持っパラメータを高速に制御することができる,これにより実空間においては不可能な非断熱的変化による効果を固体素分中において観測することが可能となる.そこで本研究では,この非断熱的効果によるフラクソンのスクイージング方法を提案した.本研究成果については,国際会議,応用物理学会及び,日本物理学会にて発表した他,論文誌に投稿準備中である.
