Research Abstract |
Maps of Klimatop, wind flow, thermal environment and atmospheric pollution in Kobe area were made for the purpose of the utilization to architectural and urban planning. Consequently, the planning of guideline was summarized from the results of climate analyzes. (1) Analysis of Klimatop The air temperature near the earth surface was estimate using the coefficients based on the NVI (Normalized Vegetation Index) image derived from Landsat TM data. The map of Klimatop was made estimating from the correlation between air temperature and NVI data. (2) Analysis of wind flow The wind field of Kobe area on the characteristics of the regional distribution and the function of air ventilation was analyzed using meteorological station data and air monitoring station data. (3) Evaluation of thermal environment The regional distribution of SET^<**> was calculated using the distribution data of air temperature, humidity, surface temperature and wind velocity. The air temperature, humidity and wind velocity were estimated from the both of the observatory data and the numerical calculation results. The surface temperature was calculated using the earth surface heat budget model, which air temperature as a known value. (4) Pollution sourve data Pollution loads from main road were considered from GIS database made by the municipal office. (5) Climate analysis and planning guideline Maps of climate analysis for Kobe City area and restoration area of Nagata district and Higashinada district were made, and the guideline was summarized.
