Research Abstract

In this research project, with the present critical situation of compulsory schooling in Japan in mind, I tried to clarify the following points.
(1) how a kind of so-called therapeutical music education can take a role in the school education ;
(2) how the students (trainees for school teacher) should cooperate with teachers concerning the rather heavy psychosomatics ;
(3) whether musics can be a trigger of reconstructing affirmative interpersonal relationship when verbal communication is out of function among parents and children, teachers and students, and friends.
(4) how music can contribute to the mental and physical health of the local community.
Refer to the report of the project attached concerning the results in detail.
