The outline of the research result is as the following.
(1) GIS was made the system which worked with the personal computer in consideration of the generality, and it adopted Arc View 3. 1 of the Windows edition as a software.
(2) Aggregate resources database was made as five information groups, namely, geology, geographical features, the development regulation zone, environment and the economy.
It was made to combine these sub-systems organically, and made the system which could search the acceptable amount of resources, in utility from the viewpoint of efficiency.
(3) Raster data of 1 km from each information database, which were rock distribution stage, development regulation zone and the area where economical development was possible, was made as the way of calculating the acceptable amount of resources.
Acceptable meshes which could be mined were extracted with three kinds of classified raster data using map operation function of GIS.
The system that calculated the acceptable amount of resources by the next formula was established from this number of mesh.
