Research Abstract

現在の石炭燃焼火力発電や廃棄物発電のボイラ伝熱管にはSTBA21などの鋼材が広く使用されている。しかし、高効率化を達成するためには、耐高温腐食性に優れた新たな高海材料システムの開発が必須となっている。このような背景のもと、本研究では高効率発電を可能にする新しいコーティング材料の開発とともに、そのNa_2SO_4-NaClを含む環境での耐高温腐食性の評価を行ってきた。そこで得られた成果の概要は以下の通りである。特に、(1)の後半および(2)が今年度の特筆すべき成果である。'
(1)シリカ皮膜形成材料であるCrSi_2およびアルミナ皮膜形成材料であるCoNiCrAlYは優れた耐高温腐食性を示したが、完全に硫化物生成を抑制することはできなかった。この理由について明らかにした。
(2)CrSi_2-Ni系、CoNiCrAlY-Si系、CrSi_2-CoNiCrAlY系の新規材料では、SiO_2皮膜あるいはSiO_2/Al_2O_3皮膜の形成によって厚いFe酸化物外層スケールの形成が完全に防止できるとともに、スケール/地鉄界面および地鉄内での硫化物や塩化物の生成も完全に防止できることを明らかにした。また、特にCoNiCrAlY-30%SiとCrSi_2-10%Niの合金組成は873-1273Kの広い温度範囲で優れた耐高温腐食性を示すことを明らかにした。
(3)シリカ皮膜中の酸素、硫黄、塩素の拡散係数の推察に基づいて、スケール/地鉄界面および地鉄内での硫化物や塩化物の生成抑制の機構を考察した。
以上の結果に基づいて、シリカ皮膜形成材料は耐高温腐食性に優れた材料であることを明らかにし、高効率発電を可能にするコーティング材料であることを実証した。今後、溶射技術の確立に基づいて実用化されることが期待される。
