Research Abstract

太陽中心部で起こっている核融合反応^3He+^4He->^7Be+γと^7Be+p->^8B*+γ、CNPサイクルの核反応率を、理論・実験・観測から総合的に研究し、太陽ニュートリノ放射率が持つ不定性を除く研究を展開した。多核子系の量子力学的波動関数を構築することによって、^7Be+p->^8B*+γ -> 2^4He+e^++νの核反応率を理論的に高精度で計算するとともに、核融合反応直接測定法、光分解反応間接測定法、クーロン散乱ANC法という複数の異なる実験方法を用いて測定し、これらの原子核構造・反応理論による詳細な計算と比較して理論計算の妥当性を詳細に検証した。その結果、理論的には5%の精度で、実験的には15%の精度で天体核反応率パラメータS17を決定した。同様に、^3He+^4He->^7Be+γおよび^3H+^4He->^7Li+γ反応率の理論計算を高精度で実行し、高エネルギー電子散乱による電磁気形状因子との相関を見つけ、核反応率の不定性を取り除く新しい方法を提案し、天体核反応率パラメータS34を5%の精度で決定した。CNOサイクル反応^<14>N+p->^<15>O+γの核反応率が持つ最も大きな不確定さは、閾値以下504keVに位置する複合核励起状態の陽子幅の不定性による。クーロン励起反応法を用いた実験によって、従来の低い精度の値に比べて約1/10の陽子幅であることを実験的に見つけた。宇宙、銀河団、銀河、星の構造・化学進化に及ぼすニュートリノの影響を調べるために、宇宙ニュートリノ・レプトン数の破れとビッグバン元素合成、宇宙背景輻射への影響、超新星爆発で発生する高エネルギーニュートリノが速中性子捕獲元素合成(R元素合成)過程に与える影響を詳細に調べた。精密な太陽モデルと精緻なる核反応率を用いたニュートリノ振動現象の解析、および、ニュートリノ振動現象が超新星元素合成に及ぼす影響の研究が進行中である。
