Research Abstract

1. From theoretical and experimental point of view, we show the possibility to trarmfono wave energy into shipthrust by using the bow fin
2. In the sea condition such as calm nun very rough sea condition, it is better to stow the fins into tp hull. Effective sea condition of the fin system is determined by the proposal concept
3. By controlling the bow fin, We can reduce the roll motions like antirolling fin which is usually equipped at the midship section. The system of anti rolling fin is well known and well established. As the result, that system can be equipped at the bow without the difficult problems.
4. We propose the new fin :wing system at the bow part where the stowing space is very narrow than midship part. The proposal bow slowing systm is that one fin is put on the other fin
5. By controlling the bow fins, we propose the new rushinglesscontainersystem
6. We propose not ordy the bow fin system but other method. The another one is that we propose to build the moonpool at the bow part. At the moon pool the wells turbine is equipped to generate electric power by using up and down flow which is caused by ship modons
