Research Abstract

Our studies, based on the reflexive sociology and the social field theory of P. Bourdieu, arrived at several outcomes as follows :
Firstly, distinguished the social structural condition, that is, the intermediate position structure, determining the organizing of the life-welfare fields of the aged. It's position has great influence upon the ambiguity in the strategic positioning and the overlapping membership in the leadership of the keyperson of organizing the activities. Secondly, the main projects enterprised by the City Association of the Social welfare were made decision at the form of the assignment and the guideline by the national state and local government and the upper organs. And the activities became incline to the enterprise model. Thirdly, organizing two life-welfare fields taked specifique style and difference in the leadership choice among community welfare commissioners, district ASWs, chonaikai's (neighborhood organizations) and volunteer groups in relation with the regional traits and the gender role divisions. That may be correlated to the power relations among the chonaikai's and to the distinction of the fields.
