Research Abstract |
1. Considering only the diffusion of fluids as a mixture mechanism, it is found that at diffusion coefficient Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-12> m^2/s and Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-11> m^2/s, the mixture ratio increases as the inlet velocity while at Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-10> m^2/s, the ratio does not depend on the inlet velocity. 2. Considering both the diffusion of the fluids and the optical rotor, the similarity law of the mixture ratio with respect to Re number and St number is found. Also it is found that at Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-12> m^2/s and 1.0 × 10^<-11> m^2/s, the mixture ratio becomes maximum at St=3.0, and that at Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-10> m^2/s, the maximum is reached at St=0.5. 3. At Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-12> m^2/s, the maximum ratio increases with increasing rotation speed and with decreasing inlet speed. At Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-11> m^2/s, the ratio does not depend on the existence of the rotor. However, at Γ = 1.0 × 10^<-10> m^2/s, the existence of the rotor decreases the mixture ratio.
