Research Abstract |
This report mainly concerns with the demaind for digital archives to record, preserve and promote cultural properties, where both are now concrete and intangible. This report is a presentation on an attempt to make eccnomic activities and educational materials for use on thelnternet which makes an object/activity dimensions of time and space easy to grasp. Centered around space-time graph, the material consist four stages: time, space, archive, and economics which are well combined with educational contents. The user can freely obtain desired information of the ranging overlarge intervals of space and time, with the same methods used for the tangible and intangible cultural ( including Local Dance Motion ) properties. The usefulness of the materials as an educational tool in CSCL ( Computer Supported Collaborative Learning ) was evaluated through a questionnaires in local areas such as Osaka, Nara and Wakayama, etc. In the first fiscal year 2000, moving images such as dancing mortion in Wakayama festival were studied, and the second fiscal year 2001, the Wakayama Castle (refered to Osaka Castle) was serched. In 2002, the last fiscal year, the concrete and intangible images are combined together.
