Research Abstract |
Using traditional Chinese house, 24hour environmental research was conducted during the periods of January 8th and 9th, 2000.All the measurements were carried under daily living condition. These results revealed that the house is creating an extremely uncomfortable heating environment. The inadequacy heating system is due to the bad heat insulating efficiency of the house. In order to solve these problems, a new heat insulation method was considered, and research was conducted based on the following four conditions. 1)Straw should be chosen as a heat insulation material as it can easily be obtained. 2)A realistic structure and price should be set suitable for the farmers so they are able to repair and improve housing construction within their own budget. 3)Housing should have outside insulation in order to utilize the regenerating effect of the house. 4)The window sides should be required to have a wooden tripled structure, as they can be devised locally. The heat loss coefficient became 2.41 (W/K), which is half of the total heat loss coefficient before repairs, which confirms the improvement effects of heat insulation. Moreover, in comparing the heat loss in each part of the home, no major difference was seen from the floor and the open parts, and it is proven that efficient heat insulating effect on the ceiling and walls could be obtained by insulation with Straw materials. The 4 to 5℃ temperature difference occurred in the entire space of the living room, which confirms the remarkable influence of heat insulation effects. It is understood through this study that house in which the new heat insulating materials were used, can clearly regulate the heat, while at the same time continuously insulating the house from the heat generated inside. From now on, we'd like to try the practical way of use, and also should be made low cost. (300 words)
