Research Abstract |
The myb family consists of three members, the c-myb protooncogene and myb related genes A-myb and B-myb, all of which encode nuclear sequence-specific DNA-binding protein. C-myb proteins is expressed at high levels in most hematopoietic precursor cells and plays a crucial role in the proliferation and differentiation of these cells. In the presence of DNA antisense B-myb oligo the proliferation rate of cell was significantly decreased on the fourth day. In the presence of mismatched DNA antisense B-myb oligo the proliferation 'rate of cell was not decreased. In the other hand, in the presence of morpholino antisense B-myb oligo the proliferation rate of cell was significantly decreased. In the presence of mismatched morpholin antisense B-myb oligo the proliferation rate of cell was not decreased.
