In general, how to arouse learning motivation in physical education class of pupils has been a basic and critical theme in a long-term school education. In this study, a Diagnostic System of Learning Motivation in P.E.Class was developed to provide useful information to teachers who try to arouse the learning motivation of pupils. The system is a kind of multiphasic test and includes following test batteries. 1. Learning Motivation in P.E.Class : Shortened Version of the AMPET (Nishida, 1989) (1) Learning Strategy, (2) Overcoming Obstacles, (3) Diligence and Seriousness, (4) Competence of Motor Ability, (5) Value of Leaning, (6) Tension Anxiety, (7) Failure Anxiety 2.
