Research Abstract |
Investigation on software satellite receiving system, which can simultaneously access multi channels and multi satellites, was performed in this 3 years. Emphasis was placed on processing by frequency samples. At first, PSK demodulation algorithm using frequency samples was successfully developed. For this purpose, a new pipeline FFT operation algorithm was developed. In principle, 18Ms/sec FFT operation was made possible by this new pipeline algorithm. Also, a first AD/DA daughter board for C67x DSK, which can operate up to 6Ms/sec was developed. Digital beam forming and super resolution technologies were also investigated for multiple satellites reception. Besides, cooperation with other local industries were performed on AD/DA board development, software AM/FM vehicular radio and OFDM LAN software development. By these software and hardware developments, feasibility of the multi channel, multi satellite receiving system was made clear.
