Research Abstract |
In this year, I made a research to the characteristics of the Manchu Texts published by Sa-Yeog-Won(司訳院), or the Bureau of Interpreter of Korea in the Yi Dynasty, especially to the characteristics of the Korean translations of the Manchu originals. I compared the usage of Manchu genitive marker [-i(-ni)] and Korean genitive marker [-eui] in these texts. So, I came to the conclusion that there are several examples of Korean translations influenced by Manchu usage.
