Research Abstract |
This research intended to clear the roles of education carried by NPO. The research was planned and realized by 8 members of the project. In the first year (2001), we have sent questionnaire to all the NPO which are already registered. We have analyzed the answer and understood several important points. And in the second year (2002), we tried to visit NPO in several categories as follows. (1) Children's NPO, (2) Arts NPO, (3) Supporting NPO of the social educational activities, (4) Supporting NPO of the school education, (5) Welfare and Human Rights NPO, (6) Intermediary NPO. We were also interested in the comparative study and analyzed the development of NPO in the United States. From all the data and examination, it is cleared that NPO is very important actor of the educational activities in the civil society and is also active coordinator in the training of the human power as volunteers.
