Research Abstract

This study was planned for "Musical approach for the special education".In the field of special education, active attention on "Musical approach for emotionally disturbed children".In the special schools, there were many guidings principle in or out of the curriculum of music. For this reason, it is important of psychopysiological study for the music. This report has two-way to approach.First is the psychophysiological experiment on musical listening and BEG changing. Second is the fundamental study for artifacts elimination by using the technique of digital processing technique.
In the 1^<st> year, prepared recording system at Univ.Ryukyus. And 2^<nd>.Year, we also prepared portable BEG recording system according to use in the fields working. These recording systems were reasonable for fundamental experiment and/or fields study.
Listening to music bring to constitution of the arousal level, trended to maintain downward consciousness, from applied psychophysiological experiment with normal subjects. Thus, several music may have the "control of the arousal l&vel".And also it was very important things about difference of "niental set".In the future study, we have to consider the "mental set", when to plan the experimental deign.
The BEG from emotionally disturbed children, they are usually contained many types of artifacts.By using the technique of digital processing technique(FIR digital filter), we can precisely eliminate the high ftequency BMG artifacts.Compared with high cut FIR digital filter(265 dimensions)and moving average or analog filters, we checked out difference of BEG wave form.
