Research Abstract |
I investigated first non-open or non-arranged materials of Nishida Kitaro and his followers and put them in order. Then I collected the results of the researches on Nishida-philosophy till, today. The equipment and traveling expenses were used for this purpose in accordance with the original plan. On the basis of above-mentiond fundamental works I tried to clear up the development of the latter half of Nishida's philosophical activities through dialogue with the researchers of Japanese philosophy. On this occasion I took into consideration also the historical and philosophical situations whereby Nishida was put, his confrontations with the thoughts at that time and the critics to Nishida at that rime. Besides I compared his philosophy with the present thoughts concerning action, body, life, and history, and considerd significance of his philosophy in the contemporary philosophical situations.
