Research Abstract |
This research focuses on the developmental process after adolecence, which has to do with Diversification of registers and its situated uses. And we also aimed at constructiong a new language denelopment model which sheds light on the critical shifting processes around late childfood and young adolescence. The data are from the area in whic peple uses standard Japanese as well as vernarcular Japanese. These heterogeneity will highlight the social and situational development after adolescence. We have done the following three researches : (1) Questionnaire research on register usages. (2) The diversification of registers in everyday discourse. (3) Nrrative on vernacular registers and life-course language development.
