| Research Abstract |
This research performed fieldwork from 2001 to 2003. Investigation conducted old documents investigation all over the country, and collected forged documents. And 2004, creation of a report and an old documents table was performed based on the investigation data of a three-piece year. The outline of investigation is as stating below.
1.Main investigated places are the Nagano Prefecture, Kiso County Okuwa Village Joshoji Temple, the Nagano Prefecture, Nagano prefectural history Museum, Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Kubo Hatiman Shrine, the Kofu City, Yamanashi Yamanashi Prefectural Library Koshu Bunko, the Bunkyo Division, Tokyo University of Tokyo historiography place, the Chiyoda Division, Japan National Archives, etc.
2.The method of investigation searched a historical-records possession organization's table, perused and investigated old documents, and identified truth. The circumference information related on it was collected and the maker of a forged document, creation time, the reason f

3.By Nagano Prefecture Kiso County Okuwa Village Joshoji Temple, investigation of the old documents, which had not been exhibited until now, was realizable especially. All the investigated old documents composed the table, photoed it with the digital camera, and collected image data. The arranged old documents were able to amount to 1551 pieces, and were able to be published as a volume on Shinshu University Faculty of Arts Japanese history laboratory "the Nagano Prefecture Kiso County Suhara, Okuwa Village Joshoji Temple old documents table." Moreover, a part of investigation result was carried by "booklet Joshoji Temple, and it was able to be returned to society widely as an enlightenment document for general. Especially the Kiso district was able to carry out new discovery of deciding the time, which changed to the Shinano country from the Mino country.
4.About the appraisal technology of a forged document, it was able to check that the synthetic old documents investigation by the present condition record system was effective. It is investigating the old documents of related modern times, and, as for the forged document drawn up especially at the Edo period, it turned out that creation time and the reason for creation can almost be specified. Moreover, it also turned out that the picture information by the digital camera is very effective.
