Research Abstract |
1. I compiled a database of the Niya-documents, and this time added new data of the tablets from Niya in 1991. Moreover I inputted the texts of each tablets. For this reason we can research the matters of phonology by using the function of query. 2. In 2001 and 2002, we copied the films, which recorded the field works in Niya and discovered remains. The items are large sizes 102 cuts (204), brownie sizes 103 cuts (206), and 36 mm sizes 85 cuts (170). We made each film in duplicate. The large sizes and brownie sizes record the Kharosthi-tablets, excavated matters and temple. The 36 mm sizes record the scenes of excavation. 3. We also proceed the digital processing of film. We recorded film as original with 18MB (TIF format) in CD (650 MB). The 34 original files are recorded in a CD. Then we made thumbnails for the catalogues, compiled the practical albums. An album is consisted 100 cuts (5 MB, JPG format) in a CD, however these albums are trial manufactures. Because our purpose was compiling the graphic data as materials of a database this time.
