| Research Abstract |
Recently, new criminal legislations have been enacted, such as the Law hot punishing Acts related to Child Prostitution, the Anti-stalking Law and thr DV Prevention Law, and so on. This research aims to explain the process of these legislations and, and to clear the object of these special laws.
In 2001, in order to examine the practical use conditions for these acts, some investigations have been done, in cooperation with the government office concerned, including Hokkaido police headquarters and Fukuoka Prefecture police headquarters. In 2002, we analyze the results of the above done examinations, and statistics materials.
And, an examination was added about the regulations system of the various communication means, including the Internet and that actual effect. As for the practical use conditions of the crime prevention camera system that introduction began newly as well, an examination was done in that process.

Secondly, as for the crime prevention camera system, it was shown by the result of the examination such as Shinjuku and New York that it had tremendous effect with the criminal restraint.
