Research Abstract |
PETAL CULTURE AND INTERSPECIFIC HYBRIDIZATION WERE CARRIED OUT TO PRODUCE OF YELLOWISH FOWER COLOR IN PELARGONIUM. SOME SPECIES WITH YELLOWISH FLOWER WERE USED FOR PETAL CULTURE IN SECTION HOAREA. CALLI FORMATION WERE OBSERVED IN ALL SPECIES ON THE WHITE MEDIUM SUPPLIMENTED WITH 2.5 MG/L NAA, 2.5 MG/L KINETIN. WHILE THE FREQUENCY OF SHOOT AND ROOT FORMATION WAS LOW ON EVERY DIFFERENT MEDIUM WHICH ARE 3 BASIC MEDIUM SUPPLIMENTED WITH THE VARIOUS CONCENTRATION COMBINATION OF GROWTH REGULATORS (NAA, KINETIN AND TDZ) AND NATURAL ORGANIC MATTERS (CAZAMINO ACIDS, PEPTONE AND TRYPTONE ). CROSSING COMBINATION IN TWO CULTIVARS IN SECTION HOAREA, AND BETWEEN SECTION HOAREA AND SECTION PELARGONIUM FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF YELLOWISH FLOWER IN F_1 HYBRIDS, FROM MORE OVER 50 CROSSING COMBINATION MANY F1 PLANTS WERE OBTAINED. FROM THE CROSS P. RAPACEUM (SECTION HOARE) X P. CRISPUM 'LEMON CRISPUM' (SECTION PELARGONIUM) A FEW F_1 PLANTS WERE PRODUCED THROUGH OVULE CULTURE TECHNIQUE. IN THE PRESENT F1 HYBRIDS ARE GROWING IN THE GREEN HOUSE. AT THE TIME THE PLANTS BECOME MATURE AND FLOWERING WE WILL SELECTED FLOWERS THAT WE RESPECTED AND CONTINUES THIS STUDY AGAIN FOR F_2 HYBRIDS, F_5 GENERATION.
