| Research Abstract |
1) Schizophrenic patients with akathisia demonstrated high frequency of PLM index and arousal index, and low attitude of inter-movement interval, SWS, and ST, comparing with the controls.
2) Schizophrenic patients afrer akathisia treatment showed low frequency of PLM index and arousal index, and high attitude of TST, SWS and Inter-movement interval.
3) Patients with idiopathic RLS showed low brain iron concentration.
4) The blunted serum to CSF ferritin relationship seen in the RLS group suggests a dysfunction of iron transport from serum to CNS.
