Research Abstract |
(1) Study in the rabbit ear chamber We can observe arterioles, capillaries, and venules in the rabbit ear chamber, and can also observe red and white blood cell and platelet in the each vessel. The chamber was installed on ears of the Japanese white rabbits which were diabetes mellitus. In the diabetes mellitus models, rolling of white blood cells was increased in the venules of the chamber. In the study about the reaction of the vessel diameter to vasodilator drugs, disfunction of the vascular dilatation was observed In the study about sarpogrelate, rolling of white blood cells in the venules was decreased in the treated group. We made artificial thrombus in the microvessels of the chamber in the diabetes mellitus model. Thrombus formation time in the arterioles and the venules was prolonged in the drug treated, group. The main component of the thrombus in the arterioles was platelets. The main components in the venules were white and red blood cells and platelets. We think the white blood cells was important on the venules because sticking of these cells were initially observed on the vessels (2) Study about flap necrosis Distal necrosis was observed on the random pattern flap on the back of the diabetes mellitus rabbits. Global necrosis was observed on the island flap on the abdomen. Macroscopically, necrosis area of the flaps was increased in the both groups. Microscopically, thrombus formation in the deep vessels was observed in the both groups
