Research Abstract |
In the 21st century, it becomes the time when the society changes mainly with the Information Technology. For a new learning method in upper secondary school to be implemented from 2003 and to improve the ability of the student of the IT utilization, the subject called "KYOKA JOHO (Information Study)" becomes compulsory in the comprehensive course of upper secondary school. Therefore, the training of an excellent information teacher becomes an urgent problem. However, the present situation of teacher training of the subject "Information Study" and teaching materials aren't established in the university teacher education. The purpose of this research is to develop the optimal curriculum and the teaching materials, especially the methodology about "the multimedia expression" out of 6 areas of the Information Study. In 2002, the following study was done. (1) It made the presentation materials of "the basis of the multimedia", "the basis and the expression technique of the static picture", "the basis and the expression technique of the animation picture", "the basis and the expression technique of 3D Graphics". (2) Actually, it used these methods to the student and it evaluated them. As a result, as for the score of the student understanding. The average is 3.9(N=22, σ=0.61), a good result were won in this evaluation average.Especially, the average score of the image processing and the GIF animation was 4.0 and as for the teaching method, the evaluation which is as high as 4.2 was gotten. On the other hand, the score of the three dimensional graphics is 3.3, so it needs the improvement of the teaching materials and teaching method in this area. (3) The student created a multimedia work and so on, having an interest enthusiastically. This technique can be utilized about the class of the secondary school subject "Information", too.
