Research Abstract |
1.Nutritional Role of Hepatic Autophagy In order to investigate if food protein affects autophagic proteolysis in the liver in the steady state, casein, soybean protein, rice protein, wheat protein, potato protein and ovalbumin, were compared. Animal protein tended to increase the proteolytic rate compared to vegetable protein, but rice protein exceptionally increased the rate, which suggests some special role. 2.
