Outline of Research
In the 17th school year of Heisei we had a meeting once a month and an additional one in July (13 meetings in total). We rewrote the "CHORIN" which is written in old calligraphy, and gave notes.
In giving notes we compared the contents of "CHORIN" with other historical documents in charge of each member of the society of research. On the other hand, a working-party put punctuations to the text, and reviewed the reprints and chose items to give supplimentary notes.
Some members of the society of research are getting good result.
(1)Rewriting of "CHORIN"
We rewrote from 40 pages to 80 pages of the text in each meeting, and rewrote Volume 29 to Volume 30 of The Former part of "CHORIN" and Volume 1 to Volume 3 of The Latter Part of "CHORIN" this year.
(2)Present state of progress in making notes
We wanted to know what the characteristics of "CHORIN" is, and compared the contents with those of "RYUUEIHINAMIKI" and "TOKUGAWAJIKKI", and now we have done the work to Volume 13. In pararell with the work we punctuated the text and chose items of supplimentary notes.
(3)Present state of progress in researching
(1)Naoyo Ukai : A chronological table of disasters in The Former Part of "CHORIN"
(2)Hanako Fukuta : Ceremonial gifts to TOKUGAWA Shogunate in the early days of Edo Era in "CHORIN"
(3)Akiko Hayakawa : A study of Korean delegations in the news of "CHORIN"
