Research Abstract |
1,On the basis of ancient books and studies, I clarified the thought of Tokoyo in old times, which later became the basis of adoption of the idea of Fudaraku in Japan. I analyzed the way how Tokoyo got united with Fudaraku, particularly. 2,I gathered many theses and books about the belief in Fudaraku and Kannon in Japan, China, Korea, India, and Tibet. In order to get these materials, I visited some public libraries, National Diet Library, Osaka Prefectural Library, Kobe Chuo Municipal Library, Kyoto University Library, and also visited directly the spots and tried to gather more materials. 3,I investigated the places that are said to be Fudaraku in Japan and in other Asian countries.
