Research Abstract |
The outline of the research project is as follows. 1)Himeno collected the information, reference and data about environment valuation through the interviews to eminent researchers in UK (C.Spash Chair of the European Society for ecological economics, R.T.Turner : Head of CSERGE). 2)Himeno got the knowledge about the framework of environmental economics through the conference of HET (History of Economic Thought) and INEM(International Network for Economic Method) in UK. 3)Through the CVM and CONJOINT investigation for Isahaya tidal flat and reclamation, Himeno had checked the feasibility of evaluation method. 4)The methods of environmental valuation were re-examined according to their own character, effect and fault. 5)The "category mistake" was clarified on reference to the Evolutionary Economics, the Critical Realism and A Sen, in confusion of "consumer selection" with "citizen selection" in "CVM investigation. 6)Database of the reference books for both CVM and CM (Choice 'modeling ) were made on PC.
