| Research Abstract |
It is currently difficult to develop a Man-Machine Collaborated Manufacturing Support system. The reason of such difficulty is resulted from current Manufacturing Definition Data (NC data). The NC data is difficult for operator to understand the machined shape and detail parameter of machining operation. In this research project, Manufacturing Definition Data Markup Language (MDDML) based on XML is proposed. The conclusions of the project are follows :
1)Manufacturing Definition Data model based on Manufacturing Feature model is proposed. Proposed model is described in EXPRESS language.
2)Manufacturing Definition Data Markup Language (MDDML) is proposed based on the Manufacturing Definition Data EXPRESS model.
3)Man-Machine Collaborated Manufacturing Support system based on Manufacturing Definition Data Markup Language (MDDML) is developed.
4)Integration between Manufacturing Definition Data Markup Language and product model data is proposed.
