Research Abstract |
In 2002, I collected the data at Tenjin-Daimyo district that is the central district of Fukuoka, and made basic analyses on them. In these analyses, it was made clear that the shopping pedestrians' behavior and the character of the streets was related. These results were published in AIJ Kyushu Chapter Architectural Research Meeting (Planning), Mar. 2003, and Summaries of Technical Papers of Annual meeting Architectural Institute of Japan, Sep. 2003. In this study, it was made clear that the EDO heuristic choice rule was effective for the model. Moreover, I collected the data at Tianjing in China in a collaborative research with Kyushu university and Tianjin university. In 2003, I collected the data at Nishijin district as a sub-center district and Ijiri district as a neighborhood district, and analyzed the data. According to the results of this analysis, the difference between Nishijin, and Ijiri district was made clear. Moreover, I collected the data at the central district of Busan in Korea in a collaborative research with Kyushu university and Dong-A university. The heuristic choice rule models were adapted to Tianjing data and Busan data, and it was made clear that the model could predict shopping pedestrians' behavior well. The results of analysis on Tianjing data were published in Fukuoka University Review of Technological Sciences, Sep. 2003. The results of analysis on Busan will be published on Summaries of Technical Papers of Annual meeting Architectural Institute of Japan, 2004. I also made a presentation of a study on the model implied EDO heuristic choice rules in Aug,2003, at Portland in U.S.A.. The results of analyses on Nishijin district were published in AIJ Kyushu Chapter Architectural Research Meeting (Planning), Mar. 2004, and also they will be published on Summaries of Technical Papers of Annual meeting Architectural Institute of Japan, 2004.
