Research Abstract |
An interactive video teleconference system is a special video teleconference system using remote controllable camera through the network. In the broadband network age, participants such as students or teachers are able to join in a distance classroom by an interactive video teleconference. A participant can see a place to like a classroom in the distance under these conditions. On the other hands, learning is concluded by a communication in the classroom base on cognitive teaching-learning theory. Therefore, evaluation of communication is important by a distance education. A part of the evaluation is a participant's behavior analysis. It is important to clear where a participant sees why how much to know what for to happen in the communication. A protocol analysis technique is generally used for the behavior analysis. This technique however takes much time. This is the typical problem, which an analysis technique has. The purpose of this research is to develop "Visual Field Record System". The development of VFRS is approach for above problem. VFRS reduces the work of an analysis person by supporting a participant's behavior analysis in distance education only a case using interactive video teleconference. VFRS is evaluated by the application to professor's behavior analysis in distance pre-service teacher training.
