Research Abstract |
Findings of causes of prolonged conflict in sexual harassment cases ; 1) Sexual harassment cases on campus tend to be prolonged than in the workplace. 2) Professors have advantage when they fight back against admitted harassment such as professional autonomy, access to legal resources, and stronger identification with academe than with college organization. On the other hand, they suffer from negative social sanction if they are admitted of sexual harassment. 3) Non-hierarchic organizational style of college contributes to prolonged conflict of sexual harassment cases. 4) A harasser and his wife makes a team in a prolonged conflict.
