Outline of Annual Research Achievements

古澤昌秋氏(大阪市立大学)との共同研究として、Gan-Gross-Prasad予想の特別な場合に取り組んだ。Gan-Gross-Prasad予想とは古典群とメタプレクティック群に対して、L函数の中心値と適当な周期の非消滅の同値性を予想するものである。本研究ではSO(2n+1)xSO(2)の場合に、SO(2)の自明表現に対して、Gan-Gross-Prasad予想を考察した。例えば、splitなSO(2n+1)のtempered保型表現に対して、Gan-Gross-Prasad予想で期待される同値性を証明した。特に、n=2の場合、つまりSO(5)の場合にはこの群の保型表現として、Siegel modular formに対応するものがとれる。このSiegel modular formがfull levelの場合には、Gan-Gross-Prasad予想以前に、BoechererによりBessel 周期とL函数の中心値とを結ぶ明示公式が予想されていた。この予想からは特に、Siegel modular formのBessel周期の非消滅とL函数の中心値の非消滅との同値性が期待される。上記の結果を詳しく解析していくことで、この同値性を証明することができた。
Lapid-MaoのWhittaker周期の明示公式に関する取り組みでは、偶数次ユニタリ群の場合に大域Descent mapの既約性を証明することで、Lapid-Maoの予想を適当な局所体上の等式へと帰着することができた。さらに、その等式の証明において重要であると考えられるモデルの変換公式を証明した。
