高頻度ゲノム変異がもたらす歯周病原細菌の病原性変換メカニズム

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1) P. gingivalisおよびP. gulae の多株ドラフトゲノム配列データからCRISPR領域を同定し、その型別分布を調べたところ、2つの細菌種に共通な型が同定された一方で、種特異的な型も同定された。また、両細菌種が属するPorphyromonas属において入手可能な細菌種ゲノム配列にて同様の解析を行った結果、種を超えてCRISPR型別の類似性がみられるパターンがあった。
2) Porphyromonas属のゲノム配列からアミノ酸配列に基づいて作成した系統樹において、P. gingivalisとP. gulaeが極めて近縁であったことと、両者の枝長の違いから、P. gulaeがP. gingivalisの進化的祖先であるものと仮定し、系統樹における年代推定や現在より時間的に離れた時点でのゲノムデータ取得によるマッピング解析の実施を試みている。
