Research Abstract

DNAの電気伝導機構について、スモール・ポーラロン効果を取り入れ解析し、電子格子散乱において非弾性的な成分・準弾性的な成分の何れが優勢であるかに応じて、温度依存性を含めて広く輸送特性の実験結果を説明できた。
C_<60>における超伝導は3本のt_<1u>バンドに対する電子・分子内振動結合に起因し、バンド内のみならずバンド間の結合の存在が高いTcに寄与すると考えられている。両結合に対するバーテックス補正を計算し、それぞれd波・s波超伝導を与える事を見出した。バンド間結合定数はエネルギー差の増大と共に小さくなるため、縮退が解けるに従って超伝導対称性がs波からd波へ変わる可能性がある。このことを、NH_3分子のドーピング量の増大に伴いバンド縮退が解け最終的には反強磁性が実現していると考えられるNH_3K_3C_<60>の超伝導相において議論した。
単一分子性導体について、第一原理計算による電子状態の系統的研究を行なった。孤立原子について、安定構造が結晶中の分子構造に符合する事を確認し、中心金属が寄与する分子軌道エネルギー準位の変化を見出した。結晶においては、構造が互いにほぼ等しいNi(tmdt)_2・Au(tmdt)_2・Au(tmstfdt)_2について、非磁性半金属・反強磁性金属・非磁性金属という基底状態を得た。Auを含む2つの物質について、フェルミ面のネスティングの程度の相違が磁性解の有無に反映していると考えられる。Cu(dmdt)_2、Zn(tmdt)_2の非磁性での計算では、それぞれ金属、半金属であったが、前者については、反強磁性相の方が安定である。
TTF-TCNQについて、一軸性圧縮下・静水圧下での電子状態の変化を調べた。前者の場合、圧縮方向によりフェルミ面の形状が劇的に変化すした。後者の場合、単純な予想に反し、擬一次元性が強まるという結果が得られた。これは、結晶の圧縮率の異方性を反映した結果である。
