Research Abstract |
In order to clarify the conformity degree of education target, education policy, and admission policy in each university to the variety of secondary education, we, in this research, conducted the investigation about admission policy and the questionnaire about the enforcement situation of Admissions office examination, the present conditions and problems of the information for a high school student in an open campus, the present conditions of admission of the students from a specialty senior high school and a comprehensive high school, and the motivation of a new student. We held several meetings far the study and talked with the articulation of high school and university concerning with the topics of specialty senior high schools, comprehensive high schools, super science high schools, and diversification of learning in senior high schools. From the rapid increase of admissions office examination and diversification of admission policy, we thought that a static model with fuzziness is

not effective, and we analyzed the present conditions. It is necessary to think about the dynamic model that can express environment adaptation ability to treat the newly started admission system that will change in future. The study of admission policy, examination, and investigation to the students are performed very energetically and big results are obtained. On the other hand, the investigation of an index such as satiability of the senior students and/or the university side was not widely performed. We tried common questionary survey over universities to evaluate the graduate study and got the result of Kyushu University and University of Tsukuba. In this trial, such collaboration shared by an admission center and a department seemed to be considerably difficult as well as the difficulty of collaboration between universities. Investigation of Europe was not performed, but we able to know findings such as Finland at the meeting of this study from this study member who went for other research funds. We performed U.S.A., Australia, China, Taiwanese investigation in this study, and reported that the diversification of admission examination advanced in each country. We held some meetings with teachers of SSH, a curator, and teachers who performed science education eagerly, and talked about the relation of the phenomena of "keeping away from science" with Admissions office system. There were the opinions that reduce integrated learning to increase time of science, and also that a student comes to like science by integrated learning. However, it was a personal opinion, but practiced class contents did not seem to have a big difference, and it seemed that, in addition, "keeping away from science" problem seemed to come from the situation that the science promotion as a social request is not tied to the personal happiness of a student.
