Research Abstract |
We gathered out the personnel information records from TOYOTA company paper from 1955 to 2004. From which we constructed a data base named TOYOTA Worker's Career Data (TWCD), composed of 32174 Entry records, 87248 Promotion records, 19478 Transfer records, 26094 Discharge records, 76641 Recognitions of Long service, the total reaches 241635. Based on the TWCD we analyze the basic levels statistics such as frequencies, cross tabulations, and so on. We newly researched on several occupations, Professional Scientist in a company laboratory, Instable workers in pachinko shops, Retire workers from TOYOTA. Through our study, we found several facts, 1^<st>, the pattern of career and skill formation changed on 1990. 2^<nd>, Before 1990 career and skill formation generally depends on company, after 1990 it depends on individual worker in terms of self responsibility, 3rd, Many temporally workers were introduced into work places.
