Research Abstract |
This research aimed at the individualization and embodiment, while this research member actually participates, of the general contents about the entering-school support and the learning support after entering school which were shown by the report which the surveillance study cooperator meeting of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology issued about the special education, according to the actual condition of Fukuoka Prefecture. 1. The information on Japan and overseas which was mainly concerned with the U.S. was collected. The concrete information about actual support in the usual class was acquired through an inspection of an elementary school and deliberations with a charge and teachers of university in the U.S. 2. Investigation about present condition of entering-school support was made. The obtained result was considered relating with the contents described by the report. It revealed about the state of entering-school instruction in Fukuoka, specifically concerning the present condition and the future subject of a cooperation organization, committee composition, an enforcement form, a future subject, and a future plan. 3. We paid attention to the following three local characteristics about learning support. 1) "Ordinance-designated city" in which resources concentrate on range limited comparatively 2) "Middle city" which has neither special school nor large-scale institution although it is the suburbs of government ordinance city 3) "Broader-based area" in which a special school has to cover wide area deficiently in resource The examples of the center function of the special schools which take the advanced activities respectively in the three areas were mainly collected. It was able to clarify about the process, i.e., what kind of problem was faced and how it solved. 4. The above was recorded as a report in detail. The knowledge obtained has been returned to society, by distributing the report to research institutions, schools, etc. widely.
