| Research Abstract |
1.Evaluation of each healthy problem
(1)Drug Abuse
We analyzed Guidelines for the evaluation of drug prevention of EMCDDA (European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction), National School Drug Education Strategy in Australia (Department of Education, Training and Youth Affairs, Australia, 1999), and summarized in papers.
(2)Nutrition education
We outlined the methods of evaluation such as purpose, evaluation design and procedures.
(3)School Safety
We investigated consciousness of school teachers and parents of school children on school safety measures by the questionnaire method to develop an evaluation system of CD-ROM on school safety measures. We presented the results of the survey at the 3^<rd> Asian Regional Conference on Safe Communities and described it in the Proceeding.
2.Evaluation methods
(1)Process Evaluation
We conducted process evaluation of life skills education and presented it at the 18^<th> World Conference on Health Promotion and Health Promotion.
(2)Mid-term Evaluation
We conducted the follow-up evaluation for three years after the smoking prevention intervention, pointed out usual problems of evaluation such as dropout and selection of analysis variables, and showed their solutions.
3.Development of evaluation manual
We have developed an evaluation manual of about 100 pages. Moreover, we described important issues of evaluation in several academic journals to diffuse them to health education researchers.
