The research on the actual condition of the advanced case of the preceding fiscal year is taken, and 3 questionnaire investigation is greatly being carried out in 2004. The first questionaire is for the city planning administrater on the compact city strategy and the housing policy for the downtown residence in charge of all the cities which exist in the Tohoku area.
As for the cities of less than 100000 people, still the suburbs expansion is continued, and moreover the conditions that the validity of the housing policy for the downtown residence wasn't made of security became obvious at the request for the agricultural land diversion by the agriculturalist.

Inhabitant questionnaire investigation was carried out, for the residence in the suburbs of Hachinohe City which aim at compact gusset-making in the city planning master plan.
