Research Abstract |
In this research I had developed an intelligent learning environment for collaborative learning with problem-posing. The environment is composed of (1)problem-posing support module, (2)problem-sharing field of posed problems, (3)problem-sharing field of reciprocal problem setting, and (4)collaborative learning support module. Students pose problems in this environment, and then, they share the problems in the problem-sharing field. Some of the students learn about the problems by observing the problems. Some of them set the problems each others. These are one of the most important aspects of collaborative learning. The problem-posing support module is also composed of (a)problem posing interface, (b)problem diagnosis module, (c)error correction module, and (d)student modeling module. The Problem-sharing field of posed problems is a virtual exercise book composed of posed problems by the students. This is a collaboration field where to pose problems is the theme of collaboration. In the problem-sharing field of reciprocal problem setting, a pair of students set problem each other. By setting problems each others, they can keep motivation to make problems that are more difficult or various problems. The collaborative learning support module includes the following facilities, (i)formation of learners group, (ii)diagnosis of exercise book made in the problem-sharing field, (iii)judgment of problem posing and solving in reciprocal problem setting, and (iv)guidance of problem posing to support of collaborative learning in the environment. Each module had been developed. The composition of the modules is progressing. The prototype environment will be tested by teachers of elementary schools.
