| Research Abstract |
Last year, we have executed the Art Project 2003 of NIIGATA UNIVERSITY "UCHINO DE ART", to investigate of a form of Art contributing toward the revitalization of a Uchino district, that is nearby town of the University. And we have gathered data on ART PROJECT of the many communities. Using these data, we have proceed the research according the own theme of special study. For example, KONDO, art-historically, had made dear the regionalism of art as the age of image-worship. And SATO, finding the homological between Art project and art-education, defined the problem of art project, and YAGINUMA had concretely showed the significance of art in closer cooperation with the elementary and middle schoolchildren.
And in connection with the Project which we executed, HASHIMOTO had proposed a problem of the public space as an environment, and showed a possibility of art and design. GO had discussed about a role of symposium of sculpture for the city planning. TANJI, as a chief director of Art Project, 2003 "UCHINO DE ART", had reached to a conclusion about a significance of art in a community.
TAKEDA had researched one local work of art, which was until now untouched, and made dear its originality and its value. YAMAMOTO had showed the continuity of art tradition in Nihon-ga education and the meaning of coping artwork.
And also in this year, each of members executed Art projects in various places, such as "Project of Candle light" in Hayadoori-district, and "Rainbow-Atrium, Let's make a Wall painting of Light" in Tokimesse in Niigata City.
Now we are planning a new art project of Niigata University of 2005 "UCHINO DE ART", to restore our profit of two year study.
