Research Abstract

1.予混合噴霧流燃焼実験
ガスタービン,液体ロケットエンジンや油焚炉では連続的に噴射された液体燃料の噴霧燃焼が行われる.多くの場合において,液体燃料は燃焼に先立ち幾らかの酸化剤と混合される.そして,さらに酸化剤が噴霧火炎外部から供給され拡散燃焼を完結させる。本年度は,このような実用上重要である過濃予混合噴霧流について予混合噴霧の総当量比の影響を調べ,それをもとに希薄予混合噴霧燃焼についての考察も行った.超過濃領域では外部火炎のみを伴なう噴霧燃焼形態が観察され,総当量比を低下させると,連続した内部火炎を伴なう燃焼形態が現れ,さらに総当量比を低下させると分裂性内部火炎を伴なう形態へと遷移した.
2.対向流予混合噴霧燃焼実験
噴霧の液滴径分布と流れ場のひずみ速度を変化させて実験を行うことができる対向流予混合噴霧燃焼実験装置を用いて,予混合噴霧燃焼の安定燃焼可能条件の把握を行った.燃料には揮発性の低い正デカンを用い,理論混合比から希薄域での予混合噴霧の燃焼を対向流場において行い,噴霧総当量比の影響,微粒化状態の影響について調べた.実験の結果,平均液滴径を小さくして行くと逆火または吹き飛びが生じ,平均液滴径を大きくして行くと吹き飛びが生じることが明らかになり,安定燃焼可能な平均液滴径が存在することが明らかになった.
3.早期燃料噴射ディーゼルエンジンの実験
ディーゼルエンジンにおいて燃料を通常の噴射始め時期より早期に噴射し,燃焼・排気特性に及ぼす噴射始め時期の影響,燃焼室内予混合噴霧の総当量比の影響について基本特性を調べた.これにより,蒸発により燃焼が律せられる可能性のある条件を明らかにすることができた.
