深海性小型甲殻類ミズムシ亜目の分類・系統に関する研究

Research Abstract

日本沿岸の深海に棲む等脚目ミズムシ類の多様性および系統と、水深に代表される生息環境との関係を明らかにすることを目的とし、調査・研究を行った。
調査は広島大学附属練習船豊潮丸南西諸島調査航海(5月16日〜5月27日)と豊潮丸瀬戸内海調査航海(10月16日〜10月21日)に参加し、ミズムシ類の採集を行った。また、これまでに東京大学附属研究船白鳳丸および広島大学豊潮丸によって採集されたミズムシ亜目等脚類の標本調査を行った。
得られた標本の形態形質に基づいて分類学的研究を行った。研究は解剖→プレパラート作成→観察→同定→記載の順で進めた。実体顕微鏡下で附属肢を電解研磨により鋭く尖らせたタングステン針を用いてはずした後、スライドグラス上にガムクロラールで封入し、微分干渉顕微鏡を用いて形態観察を行った。また、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて微細構造の観察を行った。また、得られた深海性ミズムシの数種を選び分子系統解析を行った。
