Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Various results for molecular engineering of near-IR light absorbing dyes was obtained through the systematically synthesis and the investigation of structure-property relationships. Especially, novel phthalocyanines developed by this project showed excellent performances for light-harvesting unit in solar cells and catalytic site in nanospaced materials. These dyes can open new possibilities for various applications to utilize near-IR light energy.
