| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on the purpose and implementation plan of this research, the research representative, the research sharing persons, and the research collaborators worked efficiently to develop a linguistic proficiency evaluation method with high applicability to non-European languages.
In particular, referring to the latest CEFR revision trends in the EU, we analyzed diverse linguistic characteristics and socio-cultural properties of our target Asian languages, and then, by extracting socio-cultural features, prepared more appropriate linguistic ability description items in order to extend the applicability of CEFR settings to Asian languages.
Regarding research outcomes, in addition to periodical research meeting, we also held research results presentations in foreign countries and international symposia. Our research results has been published in a final report as well as on the Web by March 2018.
